Badri Narayan Ghat

बद्री नारायण घाट

बद्री नारायण घाट के बारे में

Badri Narayan Ghat in Varanasi is significant as it replicates the Badrinath temple in the Himalayas, offering devotees the same spiritual merit as visiting the original Badrinath Dham. It is believed that a dip in the Nar-Narayan Tirtha, associated with the ghat, and worship at the Badri Narayan temple grants the same blessings as a visit to Badrinath.

Till the late 19th century, it was called Mahta Ghat and was renamed after the construction of the Badrinarayan temple. To stand at Badrinarayan Ghat is to feel the vastness of the spiritual map — to realize that the divine does not live only in one place, but travels with the devotee.
