ललिता घाट के बारे में
Lalita Ghat, located just north of Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi, is a serene and spiritually rich riverfront built in the early 19th century by the King of Nepal, Rana Bahadur Shah.
This ghat is named after the temple of Goddess Lalita, an aspect of Durga, and it's believed that a glimpse of her here is equivalent to circumambulating the world. This temple is situated on the top portion of the ghat. It is also called the Nepali ghat because of the presence of the temple of Pashupateshwara, the chief deity of Nepal. The King constructed a replica of Kathmandu’s Pashupatinath Temple, known locally as the Nepali Temple, with its distinct pagoda-style architecture and intricate wooden carvings.
Above the ghat, Vishwanath Gali winds through incense-scented alleys, while the steps below reflect the soft hues of dawn and dusk.
