के बारे में
Narad Ghat in Varanasi, is named after the celestial sage Narada, known for his wisdom, music, and divine wanderings. The ancient name was Kuvai ghat. After the construction of the Shiva temple, Naradeshwar, in the mid-19th century, it was renamed the Narad ghat. Locals believe that married couples should avoid bathing here, as the ghat’s energy is said to honour celibacy and chosen solitude—a belief rooted in Narada’s ascetic legacy. And yet, it isn’t forbidding. The ghat is quiet, almost reflective. A place for those walking alone, or perhaps just walking inward.
