Originally part of Dashashwamedh’s expanse, this ghat now stands as a modern tribute woven into the city’s timeless rhythm.

It was originally known as the Ghoda ghat, which is said to have come from the ancient horse trade that used to take place here. In 1984, the Uttar Pradesh government renovated the ghat and named it the Dr. Rajendra Prasad ghat, after the first president of India.
