तेलियानाला घाट के बारे में
Tucked away from the ceremonial grandeur of the southern ghats, Telianala Ghat lives in the folds of the everyday — a name often missed on maps, but murmured in local memory. Its very name, Telianala, speaks of streams and oil presses — of a time when tradesmen and daily labourers formed the rhythm of river life. This ghat was once surrounded by small oil mills and drains – telis and nalas where communities worked close to the water, blending livelihood with ritual. It's also recognized for its association with the Teli community and a nearby ancient Shiva temple. The ghat also serves as a reminder that Varanasi was built not just by kings and saints, but by craftsmen, workers, and invisible hands. The sacred and the practical, flowing side by side.
